seems like if your day starts out wrong, there is nothing you can do to make it better. it's just gonna go right down the shitter. all together. today was one of those. shit in the middle. shit in the end.
i don't understand. why do you still come back looking for me? stop going around and asking people where i am or what i'm doing or who i hang out with, that's none of your business anymore. From what you said today, the answer is still a no. Thanks for coming to visit me at school in your several days back in town, but it's really not necessary and dont do it again. it's awkward for me and its awkward for you and your friends. So next time, if we do bump into each other somewhere, maybe a casual hi is sufficient.

Went to the Libertines Show last night @ Richards on Richards. Their music had been playing over and over again in my car and Eric had been wanting to go to the show for awhile now, but he just could not drag his lazy bum to check the show date and he thought it was in late Oct. So I decided to surprise him by getting tickets in advance and act completely oblivious about it. so yesterday after he got off school, i was supposed to give him the tickets, but stupid ticketmaster @ ubc said their system was fucked up when i paid the tickets in advance and they are now sold out of libertines tickets. wtf. i was so mad...so eric and I went down to richards @ around 7:20pm or so to hopefully line up for last minute tickets, then we saw cody @ the line. There was a bouncer dude that said there were tics, and there was one that said there weren't. Finally some dude decided to sell us two tics for 35$. pretty good considering that the original price of the tics were 15$ each and we would have to pay for tax and handling fee anyway.
There was a band called Elizabeth that opened for the Libertines, they were alright. The Libertines were pretty good, after all those 10000000 times of listening to them on the car, being in the concert made me think of driving to school. They kind of played a leetle toooo fast though, they kicked up the tempo so much, seemed like they wanted to cram as much songs as they could. loud loud loud.
it was interesting to see the variety of people @ the show. the funniest one was definitely this asian chick, she definitely drunk and was just dancing completely out of control. the bouncers had to keep telling her off to stay away from the stage and the bar cause she kept on knocking over bottles by the counter. haha. she looked so retarded.
Eric was really happy he got to go to the show so yay! c'est tout. |

it's been an amazing 21 months eric! happy 21month-versary! I hope you like your present..i think this gamecube one would be better than the gba one^^ (eventhough the colours and the lines in mario golf are making me cross-eyed)

(NO, not for food, just safeway prize cards) and guess what, eric and I won 75$ of free groceries from safeway. thanks to my chink scheming-ness, mwahaha!

finally got all my courses fixed up, schedule seems more normal now. no huge 3.5 hours break in between classes.
bought some of my textbooks from the bookstore. arrgh. but will have to refund two of my books and will have to get two more. so MORE lineups >< whyyyy!
school time=transit time=have to sit next to people with damn BO in stuffy/super overly fucking crowded bus. fuck, use some goddamn deodorant you stinking bastards.
on a brighter note. bought 2 posters @ the SUB today. saw many that i wanted. but ended up getting a fear & loathing Las Vegas one, Depp for Eric and a big edward scissorhands for meee! weee. really wanted this super huuge romeo & juliet one too..and others...many many more. but my walls are almost completely covered.

well, back to city life after a week on the island and a couple of days camping in the wild. all in all, a good time cause i got to spend some quality time with eric, besides the rain...and snakes...and public bathrooms, everything else was alright.
anyway, i got home and was suprised to see a pair of roxy boardshorts waiting for me in my room :D it was a pair similar to the one that i posted on the last entry too. (next time sharon, im going to post a pic of a 24K diamond ring, so save up) Was even more thrilled to find out that it was from Sharon all the way in HK :) aww..sharon, that was really kind and thoughtful of you^^ that's why i got you the "sweets for the sweets"^^ the shorts fits fine and i really appreciate the thought *touched*
as for the astroboy bag and the little stuffie keychain thing, they are so wonderfully astroboyishly cute too <3 thanks kat e and Sarah ee <3 but..i wonder who told you guys that I like Astroboy, my mind tells me that it's probably Sharon, or 3e, but i'm leaning to sharon. so was it you?
eric said thanks to both kat e and sarah ee for the very nigged out ballah outfit :D they fit him fine and he looks very...baby blue^^

Eurocup day 12: GROUP C -- Bulgaria was going home anyway, they played a fantastic role of life ruiners woooo almost got italy to lose hope right in that game. but italy did evetually get a tight goal to win the game and kept their advancment in hope. but Denmark and Sweden tied (conspiracy? :D WHO CARES!) and screwed italia over HAHA. go Nordic victory and italian heartbreak. woooooo!

No Riots? dayam. too bad.
The Disappointing post-season is finally over. good. wasn't really a huge fan of tampa bay, I do like Lecavalier and St. Louis, Lecavalier played a very good series, esp. G7, the goals that he set up showed great importance. But other than that, meh, just another team from the East. As for the Flames. Never liked them ever. The other two Canadian teams other than the Nux that i'm alright with are Ottawa and Montreal. So if it aint those ones, the Cup stays in the States.
As for Calgary bandwagoners for the past 2 weeks/more or so, sorry there weren't no Emilio Estevez and Disney Mighty Duck's endings. Yes Calgary wanted every game badly, so what, every team wants the cup bad. Wanting it bad doesn't meanp the cup is theirs. as for patriotic love wise, hey, at least a PEI guy won the Conn Smythe. Seems like everyone's falling of the wagon now anyway, at least it wouldn't take them long to recover from the loss if they weren't a die-hard fan to start with. People who weren't fans of Calgary before the playoffs and who act like they loveeeed the team during the series, ie. my cousin. hate those people.
john garrett has to shave of half of his moustache for placing his bets on the flames.
if there is even any hockey next season, i won't want to be the flames, seems like all underdog teams who failed to get the cup eventually in the finals go through a LONG slump. weee. this is good. |

we've reached our last week of our trip in crazy hk and we are going to do all of our last minute shopping/sightseeing this coming week! ohohoh eric and i both got a digital camera today :D he got a Pentax Optio and I got as Sony DSC-T1 :D anywhooz
any one of you wanted me to help you guys buy anything? things here of course are a lot cheaper since there is no tax. stupid NDP. people had been telling me to help them buy gameboy games, cause they usually cheaper than in vancity of course, ie. Tactics Ogre for $45 Canadian. so if u want, give me your price ranges and items and such and I will see what i can do. :D

woo...
first update here in super hot and humid hk.
and quickly an apology to Shaun and Mariko, we tried to plan a trip to japan but all the 5 day tours were fully booked and they all landed on the week when you guys won't be free. We have looked at the 7 day-tours but they are all way out of the budget for eric as they were around...$1600-1700 Canadian...so we probably wouldn't be able to make it there for a visit :{..but we would be going to small trips here and there to asian countries around us. wooo! or you guys can take a wonderful and wacky adventure to sweaty hong kong!
have been bringing eric around hong kong and buying cheap things here and there, i finally brought myself out to bargain woo! bought a lot of stuff, I think eric's favourite buy was his chairman mao bag with a super cheap looking red star pin on the front. He also bought a BRIGHT red China t-shirt.
Walked around a lot of places, eric did sorta get a cultural shock when we were out at night here in hk is that everywhere you turn the corner, there is a night market. The whole city is like a big night market, with things that eric actually is interested in looking at. We were also amused by booths by the side of the street that sells cheap sex toys. yay colourful dildos.
It's funny how everywhere eric and I go. Everyone asks us where we are from and what he is. haha i like how they ask that, What is he? He looks funny. are usually phrases that are presented to me around the streets. Eric also gets a lot of stares on the MTR.
as for our directions wise, yes I have lived in hk. but i really don't remember how to get from places to places that well.. I remember some of the parts, but a lot of the places, I have to walk around and talk to strangers to ask...we usually wander from 2pm all the way to 10ish at night, our feet are super sore, but we did find super good buys. yay!
had a suprise birthday party two days ago for my cousin Sharon, she was suprised! yay! eric and I did very quick and corny decorations at the clubhouse room, but then the tape that we used were a little too strong for the paint I think, as we taped the balloons to the ceiling, pieces of paint came off :{ yipes. And My feet were super sore that day as I walked around with eric around town to try to find damn chobits figurines for her. stupid Chii.
time to go play gameboy with my youngest cousin. That thing is super violent and mouthy. it's funny.
one last thing that piss me off tho. you can find A LOT of copies of Tactics Ogre here in hk. Argh and I spent almost everyday going to freakin EB hoping to find a copy for eric...grrr..

quite a beautiful day today and last day in vancity for the next 3 weeks :D
1. went to pingpong lesson
2. went home for SHOWER FUN!
3.went to kelvin's birthday BBQ at spanish banks. twas fun :P it was more like our grad class reunion. saw a lot of old faces, some i like, some i don't (it's a mutual thing, i got a lot of bitchy stares from several people there too) ^_____^ it's weird that i talked to a lot of people who i didn't end up talking to as much in highschool, that was quite cool. anywhooz, played some frisbee with yoshi and eric. it's a really dangerous sport. then walked on the beach a little with jason, he took a small little crab from under the rocks and wanted to keep it as a pet. he named it cheryl and it didn't even live for longer than 10 minutes.:{ all in all a good time.

4. went to bbt/dinner with Sky, Carina and Jur. that was quite nice, everyone has changed a little since highschool, but it's good that we had a lot of things to talk and laugh about. eric found his new love, jur, since he likes a lot of the music eric does. eric was happy :D yay! that was great fun too.
5. now some last minute packing for hk and japan. that should be interesting and hot. before that though, lets just hope i survive the gruesome 13 hour flight over. bah. i hate flying.

YAY! after months of searching, I finally spotted a used copy of Tactics Ogre for GB advance for sale @ EB today @ RC! wooo! I actually found it once around christmas time @ Metrotown EB, but the line up was way too long, so I didn't end up getting it that day. The next day I went back to the same store, the freaking game was gone! #%@(^*#$@%(#! but now, AT LAST! The game was bought wooooo!

haha tonight i got pulled over on highway one for the 2nd time!~ wee. it was around 10:30pm or so, dropped my hammies and fishie off in ridge with eric's folks and was coming back to van, traffic was smooth, I was in the HOV lane with eric, I was only going 90 and suddenly cops came up behind me and sirened me down. So I pulled over to the side and stopped, waited to see what was up. I was thinking, i wasn't speeding, I have another person in my car so it's fine to use the HOV, so what's the problem? So the officer walked over, snucked his head into my window and said "miss, I suspect that you might be impaired."
HAHAHA
I was so going to laugh, but i contained myself, and said, nope, I didn't drink tonight. Then he asked me why I was swerving, then me thinking back, I almost laughed again. I made up some crap about cars going too close to me and stuff, but actually, I swerved because of Eric. His hands were not on the wheel but HE was the cause of the swerving :P in any case, he asked me for my license and my icbc thing. So I gave it to him and he walked back to his car. Then Eric and I started laughing in the car. funny :D
that's pretty much the end, he came back and gave me my license and insurance forms back and told me to drive safely and have a good night. HAHA so funny.
in case anyone of you wanted to know why i got pulled over last time, it was because I was on the HOV lane during rush hour with only me, myself and I in the car, i was speeding and last but not least, I didn't have my license on me. But I didn't get charged or fined, I got away with it. I just pouted at the officer and said that I was in a rush cause I had to see my sick bf in ridge. HA. YAY! |

OMG! mission before i leave for HK/Japan: MUST order 2 medium pizzas from Pizza Hut to get the TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES DVD!XDXDXD***** That was probably one of my favorite movies when i was a kid and now still!! first one kicked shell! <3 ahh happy happy happy
I have the VHS copy of it, but overtime the tape has become staticky and funky looking :{
